This document contains the general terms and conditions (hereinafter "GTC") for the use of the event registration system (hereinafter "Registration System") operated on the website https://contactconferences.hu and for the purchase of conference tickets through it.

A User is anyone who interacts with contactconferences.hu or contactconferences.com and any of its sub-sites, or who initiates a registration process (hereinafter referred to as "User").
The contract concluded shall be deemed to be a contract concluded by electronic means and shall be governed by Articles 5 and 6 of Act CVIII of 2001 on certain aspects of electronic commerce services and information society services. A contract concluded by electronic means shall be deemed to be a written contract, which shall be provided with an order number so that it can be accessed and viewed subsequently. The Civil Code. 6:7 (3) of the Civil Code, the writing of the contract to be concluded shall be deemed to be a contract in writing.
Language of the contract: Hungarian.
The User, by browsing the pages of the Registration System and by his/her valid registration, accepts and acknowledges the contents of this document as binding.
The registration process, the steps for electronic contracting:
The type of participation ticket can be selected when entering the details of the participants. You can order tickets for several participants in one order. The composition of the selected tickets can be checked, changed or even deleted at any time.
By placing an order, a sales contract is concluded between the User and the Event Organiser. The contract, as an agreement between distance buyers, is based on the Event Organiser's obligation to bid. The Event Organiser, as a bidder, advertises the conference tickets according to the terms and conditions published on the contactconferences.hu website. By successfully placing an order following registration on the website, the User accepts the Event Organiser's offer. The contract between them is concluded upon receipt by the User of the confirmation e-mail of the order, by way of an implicit agreement. The confirmation e-mail shall be deemed to have been received when it becomes available to the addressee. If the confirmation e-mail has not been received by the User within 48 hours of the order being sent, the User shall be released from any obligation to make an offer or to enter into a contract.
In the event of incomplete or incorrect order form completion, the Event Organiser shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the aforementioned or for any technical problems arising during the process. The contract shall be terminated by mutual non-performance of the services in accordance with Article (6) 3 a) of the Civil Code.
It is possible to modify the order, which the User can notify to the Event Organiser's contact details.
There are two payment methods available to the User:
The Event Organizer does not receive, store or retain any data about payments initiated through Simple Pay. For information on the terms of use, please visit simplepay.hu/aff.
Cancellation of registration is possible only in writing (event@contactconferences.com). The deadline for cancellation is 10 September 2024. The event organiser cannot accept cancellations received after the deadline due to the high quality of the event and the provision of services related to the participation in the conference.
The User may send any complaints or comments regarding his/her order to the following email address: event@contactconferences.com or to the +36 30 116 9813 telephone number, to which the Event Organiser will provide a substantive response within 30 days at the latest.
The data provided at the time of registration will be used in connection with the fulfilment of the order, to send you information about the event. The data will be used only for the above purpose and to the extent specified above, and personal data will be stored until the end of the event and until the financial settlement between the Parties. Goodevent Event Management Ltd. is considered a Data Processor in connection with the Contact Customer Service Conference.
By registering, the User agrees that the personal data provided during registration will be treated confidentially by the Event Organiser to the extent necessary in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
The User has the right to access, modify or request the deletion of his/her stored data at any time. The Event Organiser shall take care of this immediately upon receipt of the request. User data will be removed from the Registration System immediately after deletion; however, this shall not affect the retention of data and documents relating to orders already placed and orders already fulfilled, which the Event Organiser is legally obliged to retain and therefore cannot be deleted.
The User undertakes to update the personal data provided during registration as necessary to ensure that they are up-to-date, complete and accurate. The User shall be liable for any damages and additional costs resulting from failure to comply with this obligation.
The prices indicated in the Registration are valid until cancelled or changed.
The Event Organiser shall not be liable for any incorrectly indicated prices resulting from a lack of care and/or any technical error, or for any obviously incorrect, unrealistic prices which differ significantly from the generally accepted price of the product. In such cases, the Event Organiser shall not be obliged to sell the conference ticket at the price incorrectly indicated on the website. In the event of a mispricing, the registered User shall be informed as soon as possible. The User shall not be liable to pay for any registration submitted with an incorrectly indicated price.
By placing an order, the User accepts the terms and conditions of participation in the event, in particular the Rules of the event and the rules of conduct at the event venue.
The User is obliged to behave or conduct himself/herself at the event in a manner that is appropriate and worthy of the standard of the event.
The User acknowledges that if his/her behaviour interferes with the holding of the event or reduces its quality, the Event Organiser is entitled to ban him/her from the event. In this case, the User shall not be entitled to any compensation.
By placing an order, the User expressly acknowledges that the event will be recorded with images and sound, on which he/she may also appear.
The User consents to the creation, storage and use of the recordings for the purposes of reporting on the event and promoting the event series.
The User acknowledges that the recording of images and audio recordings of the performances at the event is prohibited. A still image of each student may be taken, stored and used for personal use.
The User acknowledges that by violating this prohibition, he/she infringes the intellectual property of another person, which will result in the application of the appropriate legal consequences.
The Event Organiser is entitled to unilaterally modify these GTC by informing the User in advance. The amended provisions shall become effective against the User upon the first use of the Registration System after the entry into force of the amended provisions, for orders placed after the amendment.
The Organiser is also entitled to make any changes or corrections to the Registration System at any time without prior notice to its customers and reserves the right to transfer the Registration System to another domain name.
By using the Registration System, the User declares that he/she understands the Terms of Use, acknowledges them and accepts them as conditions of use of the Site.
A User is considered a Consumer if he/she is a natural person acting for purposes outside his/her independent occupation and economic activity.
A sales contract concluded on the basis of these GTC shall be considered a consumer contract if the User does not purchase the participation ticket in connection with his economic activity.

The conciliation body is responsible for settling consumer disputes out of court. The conciliation body's task is to attempt to reach an agreement between the parties to resolve the consumer dispute and, if this is unsuccessful, to rule on the case in order to ensure that consumer rights are enforced in a simple, quick, efficient and cost-effective manner. At the request of the consumer or the Supplier, the conciliation body shall advise the consumer on the rights and obligations of the consumer. In the case of cross-border consumer disputes relating to online sales or online service contracts, only the conciliation body attached to the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry is competent to handle the dispute.
